I love this jelly! Next time I make this, I will put the onions in the blender or food processor so they don't float to the top. I sauteed some chicken the other night and dumped in a jar of this jelly and simmered for about 20 minutes. Served over rice. Fantastic!

I made this yesterday using 1/2 onions and 1/2 jalapenos. It is SO GOOD!

I made this for Christmas gifts in 2008. I used "herbs de provence" to replace the sage. My s-i-l the chef & daughter loved it. I have requests to make again.

This recipe is from the book "Gifts from the Harvest", published by the makers of Sure-Jell and Certo. It makes 5 pints and makes great a great Christmas gift.

This is wonderful.I followed the recipe precisely and the only problem I had was that it did not seem thick enough, like it would set up,so I added another pkg. of certo(all I had) and it turned out beautifully.I love the flavors and am already anticipating what I am going to eat it on.Next time I make it I will add more onions because the quantity of them compared to the jelly was a little off to me.Thanks for the recipe,I am giving some out for Christmas.

I wished I'd made this for Christmas gifts! It is very good, I just love the flavor! My batch made 5 jelly jars and they look so pretty! Thanks for a great recipe! I found 2 large red onions made just a little more than 3 cups!
